Can a Little Promotional Flashlight be a 'Lifesaver?'
As you may recall, we had serious storms in the Harrisburg area a couple of weeks ago. Record rain and the ensuing floods wreaked havoc on a wide area and caused widespread power outages.
Our very own customer care specialist, Annie Campbell, sent me this note and I thought her words were more meaningful than anything I could write so in Annie's own words...

I shared this with Alisa this morning but thought you might appreciate it as well...
Last night, around 2:30 am, I heard huge explosions outside of my apartment. Turns out, all of the electric in Camp Hill blew, leaving the town (my house included) totally without power. Being the brave girl that I am, I freaked because 1. I am afraid of the dark and 2. I have never invested in a good flashlight...thinking "why would I ever need it?" Then I remembered that a couple of weeks ago I did an order for a custom printed Smashlight Flashlight. I was sent an over run so I took it home and threw it in a drawer. I swear that little light saved my life last night. I hate to admit this, but without it I would have been crying in a corner or checked into a hotel. Not only was it the brightest light in the neighborhood (all of my neighbors were outside assessing the damage) but it lasted all night. In order for it to shine, you need to press down on a button. I took a coffee cup, placed it over top of the press button and bam, the whole room was lit.
It is a small example I know, but I will never forget that. To think my night of sleep was rescued with a $1.89 customized flashlight. Funny world. I will always recommend this promotional product and can't wait to spread the word...
