Dear Santa, Define Naughty... please
Dear Santa,
As you know, I love early morning.
Yes, I suppose it could be a sickness to some but making the coffee, turning on CNBC, grabbing the laptop and surfing the web well before dawn while Vicki and my trusty lab, Charlie, are still snoozing, is just the way I roll. Maybe it's the old adage that was burned into me as a child, "the early bird gets the worm"... just maybe my competitors are still sleeping while there I am... checking out their sites, comparing promotional product offers and prices.
Which brings to me to the question, "How do you, Santa, define naughty?" After all, I think you have the absolute final say this time of year on what is naughty and what is nice.
I Googled a term this morning that we and our promotional products competitors use all the time and then I clicked through to the first four sites that came up and every one of them has a "lowest price or price match guarantee..."
But I think they are being naughty and that's why I wanted to check with you.
Why?
Well, they can shop us and others as easily as we can shop them (I mean, geez, we all have Google) and they could set their promotional item prices so they ARE the lowest... but it looks like they don't. It looks like they try to just imply that they are low priced when they really are not... and this just seems naughty. Seems they could do like we do... we shop the market and then set our prices to be sure we offer the best value.
Anyway, I know you are really, really busy this time of year but when you have time, I'd appreciate hearing what you think.
All the best, Santa, and be sure and wear your Under Armour® on the 24th... it is freezing here!
Oh, and Santa, I'd like to put in a good word for Mary Miller, our Accounting Coordinator. She has a passion for Toys for Tots and this year she organized a team competition which resulted in us raising a record 214 toys! Guess I should put in a good word for the whole "Toy Team!"
