  • Every mailbox gets a sniff...as does every telephone pole, fire hydrant, bush and tree.

    Yes, I'm talking about walking a dog...specifically, my lab, Charlie. Though in her 13th year (I think that would be in or near the 90's in dog years), she still has an insatiable curiosity. On our morning walks, she has to stop at every opportunity to check out whom or what has been there before...even though she just checked out the same spots the day before. At her age, there is no power walking anymore and though she's panting pretty good toward the end of the walk, she still must stop at the last mail box, ours, and give it a good sniffing too.

    "Every dog knows that the best way to get the neighborhood scoop is through his/her nose,"  so say the Iams folks.

    What, you might be wondering, does a sniffing dog have to do with  promotional products?

    Okay, maybe it's a bit of a stretch but Charlie's constant curiosity reminds me of how we view our  promotional items  business.
