When she dropped the greased turkey on the kitchen floor...

I know you are not supposed to watch TV when you go to bed but sometimes an old re-run of "Everybody Loves Raymond" relaxes the mind. And the other night, they had the classic one where Debra is stuffing the Thanksgiving turkey and getting it ready to go in the oven while Ray is trying to tell her that he'd overheard her folks, always the "perfect couple", who were visiting, are going to be going to marriage counseling. The more he gets into his narrative, the madder she gets and ends up grabbing the greased bird which slips out of her hands onto the floor. She then drops it a few more times until she does finally get a grasp on it whereupon she opens the oven door and heaves the turkey into the oven and stomps out of the kitchen.

If this isn't one of the funniest 20 seconds of TV ever...well, I don't know what is. I laughed so hard there was no way I'd be falling asleep anytime soon. Here's the YouTube clip if you'd like a chuckle.

How does this tie into promotional products? It doesn't in the least.

We all have our favorite holidays and when I was a little rug rat it was always Christmas (who could trump Santa and presents??!!) but that changed as I got older and Thanksgiving took the top spot. Getting together with family and friends to give thanks for all we have, well, it just does not get better than that.
