You Build Your Brand... We Plant Trees
As you may know, Arbor Day is just around the corner... a special day for celebrating trees... though some of us marvel at trees every day.
Arbor Day is a tradition that began April 10, 1872 when J. Sterling Morton, a nature-loving Nebraska pioneer from Detroit, used the pulpit of his newspaper and the power of his office of Secretary of the Nebraska Territory to organize a tree planting day. You can read the full Arbor Day story if you like.
So in honor of Mr. Morton, from now through Arbor Day (April 30th) for every $100 of brand-building promotional products you buy from us, we, Team MARCO, will plant one tree.
Yes, this will be thousands of trees but we'll have fun doing it and we'll post some pics of us getting dirty doing good!
It might be a bit late to organize a big tree planting effort for your organization but there could be time to get a little project like ours up and running. The Arbor Day Foundation has some good suggestions and I thought this little "How to Plant a Tree" guide was so clear that even I could properly plant a tree! http://dnr.wi.gov/forestry/Nursery/Order/ArborDayPoster.pdf
