Texas for Heroes
Texas for Heroes
Katy, TX

The mission of Texas for Heroes is to provide healing, honor, hope and homecoming for veterans, and their families through education and self-discovery. They educate with a goal of letting our military heroes see how their service might have affected, and continues to affect, their body, mind and spirit. They learn about "disproportionate responses" to daily life, and its impact on people especially their spouse and immediate family. These men and women leave with tools to follow a new healing path. There is no cost to participate, everything they offer these men and women has been paid with their service to our country.

Volunteer Fairfax
ZTA Pink Week
Charlottesville, VA

At University of Virginia, the sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha are committed to providing the women of their community with all of the tools, information, and support they need to tackle breast cancer. Each year, for one week in October, they come together to raise awareness for breast cancer through events to fundraise for the University Breast Cancer Center and help educate the community about common warning signs and action plans.

With the generosity and commitment of neighbors and organizations, the women of Zeta Tau Alpha and the University of Virginia can continue to support the 1 in 8 women in our community affected by breast cancer and provide the proper information and tools to prevent future cases. Together, we can continue to fight for the day where our mothers, daughters, and friends do not have to worry about breast cancer.
